It was open quite late last night and ended up in here after failing to get into the Bluebottle. Decor's not changed much but the staff were really friendly and it's got a good vibe. Look out for the comedy gigs...

I have got a serious complaint, after all the years I have lived around here I have only just 'found' the Anerley Arms which is a well kept tidy pub by Anerley Station and is also a Samuel Smith one to boot.
I got enticed in this afternoon as from the outside it looks like a very traditional pub and an ideal place to spend an hour or so killing time whilst my mate decorated my flat. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw all of the Samuel Smith beers on tap. I was further delighted when the price of a pint was £2.27!!
Quite annoyed that I will departing these shores for several months shortly as I do like Samuel Smith pubs, especially one that is down the road from where I live.

Today I noticed that the former Carribean place (Island Fusion) just off Westow St has changed the name to Yamas and is opening tonight. Board suggested tapas but I couldn't see a menu up yet.
