walked past it quite a lot and went inside. there is lots of wood paneling and there is food.
we didnt fo in the garden. the drink was good.

Sorry this a food orientated 'review' as didn't drink alcohol.
I haven't been here for a couple of months, and they have had a menu overhaul since my last visit. It's gone very burgers, fish and chips and nachos, with icecream to follow (ok and chocolate brownie with icecream). Was rather dispappointed, but too hungry to go elsewhere. The food was fine just lacking their former flair/creativity, which ok wasn't extraordinary before but did at least reflect some individuality and thoughfulness. Also far fewer vegetarian options. Just generally not really 'gastro' anymore.
Still it was nice to be able to sit in the garden, and the atmosphere hasn't changed i.e. still good.

Actually I have just gone back over the menu on line. Perhaps I was over harsh.
