Went on Friday night and it was fairly busy. I'm a big fan but thought the service was slow on this occassion and my king prawns were very mushy which was disappointing. A bit under par compared to other visits.

I think every one else enjoyed their food and apparently the momo went down well. I'm sure they could do veggie ones. Nan bread was still excellent and specials menu was very tempting. But, for me Mehfil just has the edge at the moment.

Aye not so far from Uncle Wilf and his fellow diners... we were up the far end on a long table....

I was recommended an excellent lamb dish off the specials which I've been remeniscing fondly about since....

Went here again last night. This is the best restaurant in CP. Great service and food at great prices. The problem we seem to be having is when we go out for food we just head here as we are guarenteed an excellent night.

Went here for the first time last night and am pleased to say that it was the best Indian I have ever had.

The food was really fresh and flavoursome and we were given apperitifs and poppadoms on the house.

I had a huge chunk of lamb shank off the specials menu last night - very nice. Was quiet in there though... Thought it may be down to people watching the BB7 final on telly but A Torre was packed....

Popped in here on Friday evening for the first time in over a year.
It was wonderful.
The staff are superb, the ambience just right, and as for the food....truly truly sensational. I had the seafood biryani, huge portions beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection.
Incredible !

Agreed.
If you are on a budget I would recommend their lunchtime offer which is excellent value and the standard of food remains really high.

A treasure. :)

I went here a couple of weeks ago with a friend...

The restaurant was fairly empty. The staff were very friendly, and were accomodating when an opening shot of Sherry was accidentally spilled over the table...

However, the medium curry I ordered tasted like Gravy. It wasn't very nice. Hopefully this is a one off, as had decent currys in here before

Only been in twice but food has been OK. service slightly patchy but generrally quite good. Can't beat it for a pig-out takeaway (I always order too much) - Chicken Biryani is always very good. The best place around the triangle to have on speed dial for ordering in a ruby ...

Gurkha Cottage seems to really be firing on all cylinders.

Was in here saturday night, it was pretty busy but the service was very good and the food was excellent.

We went here for dinner on Friday on our first evening exploration of the Triangle and we were very impressed.

The restaurant was pretty busy but we were given a warm welcome and great service throughout our meal. The waiter brought out poppadoms and chutneys as we were reading through the menu which made us feel like he'd read our minds! We were then given a complimentary aperitif before our meals arrived. We ordered the vegetarian momo - traditional Nepalise dumplings - which were delicious, and then a chicken and a lamb dish of the specials menu, both of which were lovely. The whole evening was thoroughly enjoyable and we'd definitely go back there again.
