Is there a Virtual Norwood pub quiz team?

There used to be a couple of years ago, called the golden wonders, or something. Used to be nana, gill and matth if my memory serves me right, phased out after a while for one reason or another.
You could well try and start up another one although you wouldn't want me on your team as I'm a bit thick.

A few VNers did get together for some quizzes a while back. I know GillW was very involved.... Send her a PM.

That's right Hermit, we were the norwonders. After some early success we fizzled out, mainly cos people moved, had other stuff happening on Thursdays, etc etc. And GillW was indeed the guiding light but I think has hung up her quizzing shoes.

But if you got loads of answers Billy Whizz I'm sure there'd be teams glad to have you (and even if you didn't!) Have a word with Paul Partridge before it starts, he'd make an announcement for ya.

Hi Folks, just a reminder that our Autumn Beer Festival is 5th - 8th October, once again we shall have
somewhere north of seventy ales and ciders from across the UK.

I know I sound like a broken record now - popped in today with some pals and again, had a great time.

The service is fast! They know they are busy on Sundays so have the right number of staff on.
The music was great too - as per usual on a Sunday!
Tried several of the real ales, everytime I visit there is something new!

Have been away for 3 weeks and now sitting back waiting for Hugo and co. to start with a lovely glass of Shirley in hand :) Boris will be making an appearance later and apparently he is the size of a small donkey now!

Didn't realise they have had wifi here since day 1 - doh!

Another great evening in the GG last night - best bar staff in SE London! Noticed they are having a stand up comedy night next Sunday starting at 20:30.

Just had another great night here. They have a beer called (I think) Toffee Cog at the minute. It's very nice.

I so wanted to go yesterday and I knew you were there from 4.00pm but had not, *ahem* recovered from my Saturday evening visit.
