I thought you must have lied - no way was Brian May on the embankment by Tower Bridge.

I have just seen Brian Murphy, AKA George from George and Mildred, the much loved (?) 70's sitcom. I am completely awestuck and cannot eat my lunch from the excitement of it all!

This was in Sainsbury's car park, Bromley.

Haha yes I did a double take thinking the same, but he was on his phone and his voice was unmistakable. I wikied him later and found out he lives in Shortlands

How sad is that.

What? Living in Shortlands? Or the fact that I spotted an international superstar, or the fact that I shop at Sainsburys in Bromley

Saw Pierce Brosnan in Hampstead, met Paul Weller (grumpy so in so) in West London, Walked past George Harrison in Henley (he was with his wife and looked really scruffy, hardly recognized him!), Sat next to the lead singer of the Divine Comedy on the tube, stood behind Paul Young and his incredibly beautiful wife in Heathrow, met the ex president of El Salvador (when he was president), saw Gwen Stefani (short, looked terrified holding her baby), her husband Gavin (lead singer of bush, really nice, chatty, helped people with their bags) at LA airport. Mel B (aka Scary spice) was there (she looked so beautiful in real life, totally different to how you would expect, she was really chatty and friendly too). I walked outside and a stretch limo turned up and Eddie Murphy got out to greet her!.

I walked past Gordon Brown when he was Chancellor walking with two other politicians near horse guards parade (you would have thought he would have had a police escort!) and in the morning would often see Tony Blair in the back of his Jaguar with his motorcycle outriders tearing up Pall Mall.

Oh, almost forgot, Sam Mendes and Kate Winslet in Limani in Primrose Hill...I saw Kate Moss there who looked rough...amazing what a lot of makeup can do!

Hmm, that's quite a few but none are around here unfortunately, although I have it on good authority that Heston Blumethal was in Sydenham recently.

Gosh, do you have a little note book where you write all of these down? I never recognise anyone and when I do, I generally so don't give a damn I forget it the next minute. I only remembered Judi Dench because it was very recent and because she seemed weirdly displaced in Ikea - Croydon. If it would have been in a posh restaurant in town I would have forgotten about it already...

I just stepped aside to let two joggers pass me in Church Road and one of them was Nadia Sawalha. They were actually going at quite a lick so may be in training for a Sports Relief event. She gave me a lovely smile - we were both wearing big shades so maybe she thought I was a celeb too ... B)
