Me too. He was my favourite actor. Spielberg thought him the best actor in the world. Marvellous and really moving in both Brassed Off and In the Name of the Father.

yeah saw that - Sandy Lane - round the back of Purley way - collision with a van - didnt know him but one of the good guys of boxing apparently - remember seeing him get hammered by Lennox Lewis - his only defeat - poor old Gary
