Please look through the existing requests for recommendations. There are several pages of topics to choose from. You can use the lo-fi link at the bottom of the page to see more topic titles at a glance.

If you would like to start a new topic to request a recommendation on something not already covered in this section please try to keep your details focused on one thing at a time, so that replies can more easily be made on-topic.

For example...
"builder + decorator" is okay
"builder + cat-sitter" is best split into two topics

Duplicated new topics will be merged with existing ones, or may be removed as required. Please check the full listings carefully before starting a new topic. Thank you.

This section now features more than 100 topics. Please check that a topic isn't already listed before starting a new one.

A moderator will approve, move, merge or delete your new topic before it is shown to other forum members.

Please note that our policy of not accepting complaints on the forum is rigorously enforced but you are still encouraged to post "fair criticism" to ensure reviews remain balanced. This is easiest achieved if you simply say that you used the service of Company XYZ and do not recommend them, and leave it at that. If you find yourself detailing how a service was provided and what was wrong with it then it is likely a moderator will consider that it is a complaint and remove it without further notice.

If you need further advice about our posting guidelines please read the general forum guidelines or send an email to reviews@virtualnorwood.com

Please note that the EU's Directive on "Unfair Business-to-Consumer Commercial Practices" now makes it an offence to post fake reviews of a business you are connected with. Employees can also be held liable. The punishment level starts at a 5,000 fine, but in more serious cases, the fine can be unlimited and prison sentences of up to two years can be imposed. Just a reminder... please check to see your topic isn't already listed in this section.

New topics require moderator approval (and will not be visible until approved).

From the list of topics just go to the search box in the bottom left hand corner and enter a simple keyword of 4 characters or more, e.g. "hire" or "door", and this will bring up closest matches.

With over 200 topics to choose from we are 99% certain your topic is already covered !
