HISTORY OF SOUTH NORWOOD

I WOULD LIKE TO:
(1) PAY A YEAR'S SUBSCRIPTION, BUT CANNOT GET THE PAYPAL SYSTEM TO WORK. PLEASE HELP.
(2) I WOULD LIKE TO RECORD A LOT OF INFORMATION ABOUT SOUTH NORWOOD, WHERE MY GRANDFATHER LIVED (IN SELHURST ROAD) UNTIL HE DIED IN 1929 AND MY FATHER LIVED (IN WHITWORTH ROAD) UNTIL HE DIED IN 1973. BOTH COMMUTED FOR OVER SIXTY YEARS FROM NORWOOD JUNCTION TO LONDON BRIDGE.
(3) I WOULD LIKE TO ADD INFORMATION FROM MY OWN MEMORY ABOUT SOUTH NORWOOD. I WAS BORN IN WHITWORTH ROAD, AND HAVE MANY MEMORIES OF SOUTH NORWOOD GOING BACK TO THE 1930'S. I THINK THIS INFORMATION MAY BE OF INTEREST.
PLEASE EXPLAIN WHETHER THIS WOULD BE OF INTEREST, AND IF SO HOW SHOULD I RECORD IT?
ALL GOOD WISHES

What a shame that there was no interest shown in this thread.
Can anyone confirm my fading memory that there were 2 prefabs in Lancaster road just after the fork with Warminster Road.
I lived in the building in the fork in the 60's. (1st floor flat facing S.Norwood)

It would make a good oral history project for a student.
