Or just have one 'Weather' thread.

P.S. What has happened to the Andreas Weather Station?

Thanks for the enquiry Hermy. :)

I reckon the AWS may be in the doldrums, although he did update his status this morning. ;)

Don't want to step in to anybody's wellies but is someone with a better pedigree than me going to cut the ribbon and officially declare the heatwave as started - like about 10 minutes ago and hopefully ramping up?

The Coppertan is going on as we speak.

How you gonna fillet? * Unless it's a little 'un - could take a while to fill what with hosepipe ban?

* this is an unsubtle reference to the Fish of the Day topic which I'm trying to avoid

Forgot about that little detail... Thankfully, it's a small one that could be filled using a bucket. I would never ever consider breaking the hosepipe ban. So strike me down m'lud.

In other news, I was a sweaty mess earlier having trapsed across London to the Cross Keys pub in Covent Garden. It's warned than you think out there... Pint of Brodies cooled me down.

Feels really humid. Was sure it going to thunder earlier. Plants are dry already.

I know! I almost didn't bother paying to use the pool last night, thought I might as well just swim in the car park.

I was doing bootcamp at the top of the park last night and we were joined by ducks who had come to enjoy the waterlogged grass!

My goodness, someone riding a scooter through water up to their knees...and up to the engine. I guess they aren't that interested in keeping their kit in good nick.
