When I moved into my flat in Belvedere Road I was told by a neighbour that Kate Bekinsale used to live in a bed sit in the building before it was converted into self contained flats.

Before anyone asks I don't have any forwarding address for her. ;)

I saw a 'This is Your Life' years ago for Errol Brown of Hot Chocolate, and it said that he was born in Alexandra Drive, Gipsy Hill.

Also, the guy who drinks in the Railway Bell who looks like Lionel Ritchie wrote the UK Eurovision song entry a few years back - saw him on the TV at the starry event (must be about five years ago).

Realise that this does not say a lot for my TV viewing habits!

Thanks guys - got my friend working on getting agents' details for all your suggestions - the worst they can say is no, right? And we may get some much needed support & publicity so keep 'em coming!

Robson or Jerome (cant remember which is which, but the blonde one) is interviewed in the latest Living South - apparently he lives in Dulwich somewhere?

LOL I am not too sure to believe this but here goes, a mate of mine told me quite sometime ago that Jean Claud Vandam had one of his scenes filmed in CP and Norwood Park. Im not too sure where he got that from but has anyone else heard of that?.

Daniel Kitson - from PHOENIX NIGHTS lives in Gipsy Hill/Crystal Palace - often seen in Morrisons.
One of the funniest stand-ups you will ever see - better (well as good as Peter Kay).

Yep, Daniel is often to be seen in the supermarket or on the high street.
When I saw him doing stand up he did this hilarious piece about having to stay in a hotel in CP after he got locked out of his house. I think he was referring to the one by the campsite (the Astra?) where you often see Balkan Horn coaches (why does that name always make me laugh?) and pondering how the area might be sold to tourists 'It's an ideal location for exploring the whole of the Upper Norwood area'. Very, very funny!

Ha! If only eh?

Chances are he'll be up in North London at Spurs these days . . .

Sven was in CP because his agent is Atol Stills (spelling?) - who has his office in Foresters Hall (where Words and Pictures and Compulsion are). He's a big celebrity and sports agent. Clients include Sven, Steve Redgrave, Blue, and half of Chelsea FC!

have also spotted Holly from Red Dwarf - Jenna from Blake's Seven, and the girl that used to go out with Robbie in EastEnders.

You'd think I had better things to do really . . . .

Just lucky I guess, Elmo

I reckon I must watch too much TV if I'm recognising them

It's a wake-up call!
